MUSIC LICENSE AGREEMENT - CREATOR TIER

HookVault | BBW Publishing | Writer Owned • Artist Driven

1. GRANT OF RIGHTS

Subject to full payment of the License Fee, Licensor grants Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to synchronize the Licensed Work with Licensee's audio-visual productions for the following permitted uses:

  • YouTube videos (monetized and non-monetized)
  • Podcast episodes (audio and video)
  • Social media content (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter/X)
  • Personal creative projects
  • Educational content and tutorials
  • Vlogs and lifestyle content
  • Wedding and event videos
  • Student film projects

2. RESTRICTIONS

This license expressly prohibits the following without upgrading to a higher tier:

  • Commercial advertising or branded content for third parties
  • Television broadcast, theatrical film, or radio
  • Video games, apps, or software products
  • Standalone music distribution (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.)
  • Claiming authorship or copyright of the Licensed Work
  • Sublicensing or reselling this license
  • Political campaigns or endorsements

3. REVENUE SPLIT

Artist receives: 85% of license fee
Platform fee: 15% of license fee

4. ATTRIBUTION

Licensee must credit: "Music: [Track Title] by [Artist Name] | HookVault | BBW Publishing"

5. TERM & TERRITORY

Worldwide, for the term selected at purchase (1 Year, 3 Year, or Perpetuity).

6. GOVERNING LAW

All Creator Tier rights, PLUS:

MUSIC LICENSE AGREEMENT - BROADCAST TIER

1. GRANT OF RIGHTS

All Commercial Tier rights, PLUS:

  • Television programming (cable, satellite, network)
  • Theatrical film releases
  • Streaming platform productions (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc.)
  • Radio broadcast (AM, FM, satellite, internet radio)
  • Documentary films
  • News programming
  • Live event broadcasts

2. RESTRICTIONS

  • Standalone music distribution as primary release
  • Claiming authorship or copyright
  • Sublicensing or reselling
  • Exclusive rights (track remains available for others)

3. REVENUE SPLIT

Artist receives: 85% of license fee
Platform fee: 15% of license fee

Note: PRO royalties (BMI/ASCAP) are separate and paid directly to the writer/publisher.

EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS TRANSFER AGREEMENT

HookVault | BBW Publishing | Writer Owned • Artist Driven

1. GRANT OF RIGHTS

Upon full payment, Licensor grants Licensee:

  • ALL rights from all lower tiers
  • Exclusive worldwide rights (no one else may license this track)
  • Track removed from BW Publishing catalog immediately
  • Full stem files included
  • Right to re-record and modify
  • Right to distribute as standalone release
  • Right to register copyright in Licensee's name
  • Custom arrangement rights

2. REVENUE SPLIT

Artist receives: 90% of license fee
Platform fee: 10% of license fee

3. WHAT'S INCLUDED

  • Master recording (WAV, MP3)
  • All stem files
  • MIDI files (if available)
  • Session files (upon request)
  • Artwork files

4. WRITER'S RETAINED RIGHTS

Writer retains:

  • Songwriting credit (moral rights)
  • PRO performance royalties (BMI/ASCAP)
  • Portfolio display rights

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. Any modifications must be in writing and signed by both parties.
