About
Mother Magdalene is the iron abbess of a long-dead order, risen from her crypt beneath a ruined cathedral with rosary beads wrapped around her knuckles like brass knuckles and a vow of eternal punishment carved into her skin. She is the living weapon of a faith that demanded her sacrifice, now returned to collect what was stolen—her body a temple of scars, her voice the last sermon before damnation, her touch the cold kiss of iron nails through flesh. Where she walks, candles gutter and die, and the innocent find no sanctuary.
